Product and Warranty Period

Brands Covered: Rollmaster, JP Performance, Romac, JP Pistons

Warranty Period: Twelve (12) months from the date of original retail purchase.

This Is a Limited Warranty

Nornda Automotive PTY LTD (the “Manufacturer”) warrants that the products identified above (the "Product") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during the Warranty Period, the Manufacturer will, at its option:

• repair the Product;
• replace the Product or the defective component; or
• refund the original purchase price of the Product.

Any replacement Product or component will be new, or of equivalent or comparable quality, subject to availability. This is the exclusive remedy under this warranty.

Who This Warranty Covers

This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

This warranty applies only to a Product purchased from an authorized retailer or distributor in the United States, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Manufacturer.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal use of the Product in accordance with the Manufacturer’s written instructions, specifications, and installation requirements.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover defects, damage, or failure caused by or arising from:

• misuse, abuse, or accidental damage;
• failure to follow the Product’s instructions, specifications, torque values, clearances, or other operating requirements;
• improper installation, machining, modification, alteration, or repair;
• normal wear and tear;
• use of the Product in any application for which it was not designed or specified;
• use of the Product in racing, competition, or any application in which the engine or vehicle is operated beyond the manufacturer’s published specifications (see "Racing and Competition Use" below);
• detonation, pre-ignition, over-revving, overheating, oil starvation, contaminated or improper fluids, or failure of another component;
• external events or circumstances beyond the Manufacturer’s reasonable control; or
• cosmetic damage that does not affect the Product’s functionality.

This warranty also does not cover labor, machining, teardown, reassembly, diagnostic, towing, freight, or vehicle rental costs, except as expressly stated under "Warranty Claim Expenses" below or as otherwise required by applicable law.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim under this warranty, contact the place of purchase, or contact the Manufacturer directly at the address below. You must provide:

• proof of purchase showing the date of original retail purchase;
• the Product part number and the application in which it was used;
• a description of the grounds for the claim and the relevant circumstances of the failure;
• a description of how the Product was installed and used, including the vehicle or engine, the application, and the approximate mileage or hours of service at the time of failure;
• the Product itself, delivered to the retailer or to the Manufacturer for inspection and assessment if requested; and
• photographs or other information reasonably requested to assist with assessment of the claim.

The Manufacturer will assess the claim and advise you of the appropriate next steps within a reasonable time.

Warranty Claim Expenses

You are responsible for the cost of delivering the Product to the retailer or to the Manufacturer for inspection. If the claim is determined to be valid, the Manufacturer will reimburse your reasonable shipping costs and will pay the cost of returning the repaired or replacement Product to you.

Where you incur other reasonable expenses in making a valid warranty claim, contact the Manufacturer to discuss reimbursement and provide reasonable evidence of those expenses.

Inspection Where No Defect Is Found

If inspection and testing determine that the Product is not defective or that the failure is not covered by this warranty, the Manufacturer may charge you for the reasonable cost of the inspection, evaluation, and testing performed. The Manufacturer will not charge you for any such work unless it has first provided you with a written estimate of those charges and obtained your written authorization to proceed.

Repair or Replacement

If the Product is found to have a defect covered by this warranty, the Manufacturer will provide the applicable remedy within a reasonable time. If the Product cannot reasonably be repaired, the Manufacturer may provide a replacement or refund the original purchase price in accordance with this warranty.

Extension of the Warranty Period

The Warranty Period will be extended by the number of days the Product is in the Manufacturer’s possession for warranty inspection, repair, or replacement.

Limitation of Damages

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF USE, TOWING, VEHICLE RENTAL COSTS, LOST TIME, LOST PROFITS, LOST INCOME, INCONVENIENCE, OR DAMAGE TO OTHER VEHICLE OR ENGINE COMPONENTS.

Your State Law Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

No Other Warranties or Modifications

This document sets out the entire warranty provided by the Manufacturer for the Product. No dealer, retailer, distributor, agent, or employee is authorized to modify this warranty or to make any additional warranty, representation, or promise on the Manufacturer’s behalf. Any such modification is effective only if made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of the Manufacturer.

Severability

If any provision of this warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Nothing in this warranty limits any right you may have under the consumer protection laws of the state in which you reside.
